On 21 September, at 6:00 PM, the promotion of the catalogue of the XXII Biennale of Macedonian Contemporary Architecture – BIMAS 2025, held in October 2025, took place at Public Room in Skopje.
A brief professional review of the Biennale, and consequently of the catalogue’s content, was given by the selectors of BIMAS 2025, professors Violeta Bakalchev and Minas Bakalchev. The event also featured an address by Professor Ivan Mirkovski, President of the Organizing Board of BIMAS 2025. As the youngest member of the AAM Board, Sara Alagozovska addressed the audience with a call for young people to become involved in the collective and the community, while the closing address was given by Valentino Konstantinovski, President of AAM.
The event was moderated by Iva Petrunova, member of the AAM Board.
All speakers called for collective responsibility, emphasizing the theme as part of our everyday involvement in shaping life within the community.
Taking place somewhere between the previous and the upcoming Biennale, the gathering marked the completion of one chapter, while also announcing the next challenge – the organization of XXIII BIMAS 2027.
The event brought together members from different segments of the architectural community, students, professors, investors, and representatives of private architectural practices.
The formal programme was followed by a small cocktail gathering.
